USPTM has an immediate opportunity for an Human Resources Assistant / Safety Coordinator. The HR Assistant will assist the HR Manager in running daily functions of Human Resources including, but not limited to:

  • Scheduling interviews
  • New hire onboarding
  • Overseeing time and attendance
  • Maintaining records

Responsibilities

  • Assists with administering compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training. This may include safety training, and anti-harassment training.
  • Works and coordinates with HR Manager interviews and onboarding.
  • Works and coordinates with HR Manager timekeeping and payroll.
  • Administer safety programs as assigned.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
  • Works with HR Manager on maintaining HR records.
  • Works with HR Manager on maintaining safety records.
  • Administers employee uniform program including issuance and invoicing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Safety experience a PLUS!

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High School and working toward college degree preferred
  • 1-3 years Human Resources experience

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
