The Powder Coat (PC) Line Lead, receiving direction from the Production Manager on production requirements, will manage all PC personnel, assign tasks, and manage the powder coat production to meet the day's order needs. The individual will ensure the equipment is running properly, report any issues, and validate the quality of products. They are also responsible for providing a safe work environment, adhering to, and enforcing all safety procedures and policies.

Responsible for keeping the Powder Coat line properly staffed.

• Ensure the material is correct and orders are fulfilled.
• Executes change over to run different size tubes.
• Ensures order fulfillment for the assigned shift.
• Oversees employee’s production and safety.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
• Ensure personnel are complying with all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent in a related field preferred
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • 1 + years of supervising experience preferred

  Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong problem solver with an eye for detail and an analytical mind.
  • Continual lifting and pushing throughout the shift required 10-50 lbs. (team lifting required for over 50lbs)
  • Knowledge of operating procedures and safe work practices
  • Knowledge of Powder Coating operations
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems preferred
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to manage personnel effectively
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive work under limited supervision
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
