US Premier Tube Mills (USPTM)  is a leading and growing domestic supplier of residential galvanized and powder coated pipe dedicated to quality, on-time delivery, and excellent customer service. USPTM has an immediate opportunity for a Welder/End Welder.

• Responsible for keeping tube mills supplied with slit steel
• Ensure material is correct before loading onto the mill
• Executes change over and set up of machines
• Welds strips together and grinds off extra weld, flush to material
• Operates accumulator to run slit steel into the mill
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational safety and efficiency
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' Industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent in related field preferred
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of forming\weld mills
  
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems preffered
• Knowledge of standard manufacturing ops process and procedures preferred
• Ability to work effectively in team environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed
